Scared :(

I have not written on here for awhile! I guess that’s a good thing. I’ve been soooo much better with my anxiety and depression. Nothing too serious but recently my doggie who is a 13 year old shih tzu who ive had since i was 6. He is the love of my life and my baby. He is also a huge comfort zone. I understand we all don’t live forever but i just never expected anything so sudden. Yesterday I found him outside with a blood shot eye, him on his side, muscle tremors, and leaning to one side. It was the scariest moment ever. I rushed him to the hospital where they told us he was in critical but then they stabilized him and ended up transporting him to another clinic to look at him even better. We still don’t know the full cause but have a few ideas. He’s going to be okay but I’m just worried he may never be the same or I don’t have a lot of time with him. He’s always been a healthy dog so I know he’ll live more years. But all this triggered my anxiety again and has me thinking the worse! I just need positive words right now. I just want my baby back to normal

Im sorry to hear about your doggie! Animals sure are special! Focus on his recovery and don’t worry about time constraints. Just love him and enjoy him. He needs you just as much as you need him. Sending lots of love and healing thoughts your (and his) way!
