To those of you sharing your experiences with anxiety and depression... I want to thank you. I’ve been so broken and have felt so alone. I “know” others struggle in this world, but for some reason, I am the only one in “my world” who struggles as badly as I do. It helps to know I am not alone. We are in this together. I think I’ve mentioned before that this has been a life long battle for me, and I feel like I’ve exhausted every resource. I felt hopeless. I felt alone... one thing I’ve never done yet is seek out others who share in this suffering. I was too afraid of drowning, but it’s feeling the opposite. We are a support to one another. Rril, when we think we have exhausted all the tools and methods to use with anxiety/depression, then we need to look to ourselves. Therapy and medication are but crutches in getting us through the tough times. Everyone who goes through a serious illness feels alone and in despair. It's not the end of your life but the beginning of a new journey. Looking towards changes are always scary especially for the anxious person.

Finding others on this site who can understand your pain is a big step in going forward. Sharing and caring about each other helps make as feel so not alone, so hopeless.

We gain strength in numbers and with this site, we are world wide with others who are struggling as well.

We learn from each other's experiences. We are all Warriors in our own respect. We all met on this forum for a reason and it is that reason that will give us the strength to go forward. We care xx
