My anxiety is definitely triggered by my body’s sensation. When my arm hurts I think heart attack when my chest hurts I think heart attack it’s all bad and I go into panic mode

Heart attack anxiety
Very common! The less you react over time you won’t panic. Do you have any games on your phone you can play? I like to play wheel of fortune to distract myself
I’m the same
I recently went thru a 6 mont battle with anxiety and panic attacks after 10 years of “quiet”. I have been desperate and have tried so many things in the past 6 months to curtail these attacks-can’t let them win. Distraction is a quick fix while you’re in the grips of an episode. I play trivia crack and SongPop. Clean a room, do some laundry, talk to someone (not about the episode) just a normal conversation for a distraction. Good Luck
Exactly what they mentioned above. I literally felt like I was having a 6 month long heart attack. I started doing things around the house, reading, (The Power of Now is a great book), laundry. Anything that would occupy my mind and I would find the pains went away. I know I’m perfectly healthy but because of my anxiety I always thought I was dying. You’re not alone!! We’re all here for you! Like we said try just keeping busy with something. Keep us updated!
I have the same issue. When ever my left arm hurts it sends me into full blown panic attack because I think a heart attack is coming or maybe I developed a heart condition. I did ECGs, heart ultra sound, chest x-rays, blood tests and nothing ruled out wrong, I’m 100% strong but still can’t accept that. Right now I’m wearing a 24hr holter monitor. Health anxiety is terrible... 😡😡
