So I have being experiencing some days with a bit of chest tightness and shortness of breath for about 2/3 weeks. Up until recently never had any issues (other than ibs) so it was a bit of a concern. I have a couple of times struggled to get a breath and then start panicking, getting hot and struggling to get a breath eventually I control it myself but then normally get cold where I have being sweating in the panic.
I have seen 2 doctors at my local GP who have checked my heart beat, blood pressure and one took a urine test as they thought it may have being an infection but that come back completely negative.
Monday this week I felt it was getting worse and then started slipping into a panic again, I ended up calling non emergency care who adviced getting to A&E within an hour. Went and after waiting a few hours was seen had an ECG, blood test, chest X-Ray and blood pressure taken all was fine other than my blood pressure which was quite high but the doctor dealing with me said there was literally nothing from blood tests or chest xray and said it may be down to anxiety, stress or muscular
I still found it weird as it is only on my left side (in my head around heart) and had to get in touch with my local GP Tuesday to ask him for something to treat anxiety. Whilst there he listened to my lungs, heart and chest and took my blood pressure which was fine. He said my blood pressure would be raised in A&E anyway due to waiting and worrying its normal, he has refused to give me anything for the anxiety at the moment as I am waiting for an ultrasound to see if I have kidney stones/issues as my lower left side has being achey for about 3/4 weeks also. I was told to rest for the next few days but fins myself worse when im doing nothing so have made the most and done some things around the home
If this sounds like anxiety is there any thing to listen to or do at home to help this I am at a dead end after bothering doctors several times and going A&E I feel like I should be ignoring it and trying to get on with my life but it also feels wrong to do that when it is around my chest.
