It’s kind of hard to describe but it’s like waking up with anxiety for a brief moment. But it’s just a weird feeling. I woke up twice last night where it just felt like I was getting but I couldn’t swallow right, which put me in a panic. Plus it’s like my head felt weird as I was getting up. Almost as if it was tense while getting up. It didn’t hurt but it just felt like my head was in a weird place physically. It’s kind of like waking up, gasping for air. But its not too much of a focus on the breathing. It’s more of a focus on the head sensation.

Does anyone ever wake up with a weird head sensation in the middle of the night?
Yes me used to get that asll the time still dfo at times. Very overwellming s till get up everyday and don't feel good at all. Have you been to doctors a nd told them what's going on. I have been like this for 2 years not one day goes by that i feel good. Hope you get something sorted soon.Good luck. Let me know how you are going.
Thank you for your response. I believe it is just a common symptom of anxiety, called brain zaps. They are harmless and I have dealt with them more in the past. It just feels like either some sensation runs through your head and sometimes throughout the body. I’ve been told that we can sometimes wake up from a jolt because our bodies are releasing stress. But I think what caused mine last night was thinking about my breathing and the way my head felt, which probably led to waking up with a bit of anxiety
Your welcome. Hopefully they will gonaway. I used to get the brain zaps on some medications scary so i wouldn't take them after that.
