Andy Puddicomb is the voice of & co-founder of headspace. You can also find him on YouTube. I've never considered meditation cus I just stupidly thought it wouldn't work & really didn't know how. I am still learning really but wow.. between that & starting back walking everyday (even on days I've had 2 drag myself) I've been feeling wonderful & Yea some situations have popped up on me recently but the thing is, I was actually able to overcome them! You know what a great feeling that was?! Each time. Mostly him but there was the floating aspect of Dr. Clare Weekes as well. Hey we can't get to much help on retraining our brains. I just wanted 2 share this with y'all. If you haven't tried it, please do!

Finally something that actually helps my anxiety!
Thank you so much, I will definitely check it out.
You're very welcome! 😊
I just started meditation myself. I used to think it was touchy feely nonsense. But after I started it and yes reading Claire Weekes, and I love it and Claire. Really hate to miss even a day of meditation. Huge help for me!
Good for you Kel76, you're on the right track. Meditation is a great way to experience detaching from our anxiety producing thoughts and through focusing on our breath, it's easier to let our physical sensations dissolve and "float' as Claire Weekes recommends. It's also a great way to start experiencing being in the "now" which so many of us who have had anxiety disorder haven't done. Plus it feels great.
Thank you & you are so right! I really feel that I've got this now. I know they'll be challenging times but I honestly feel, from recent experience going this route, that I've got this! It really does feel great!
You're welcome Kel76. One of the things to try with meditation is after you get confident doing it, start trying to meditate with distractions happening. Such as outside noise through an open window or the tv going, etc... The idea is to learn to be comfortable and be able to meditate when you don't feel good, like being anxious, and not just when you are feeling good, calm and relaxed.
I can't wait to try this.. meditation also seems trivial to me but I need to try it.
hi Rachel .. I understand & please try it. Try a few if needed because what works for one may not so much for the next person. This guy's voice is so calming & the way that he puts things, I could understand. Lol. Good luck to ya!
I’ve just started meditating too and noticed a huge decrease in my anxiety after a few guided meditation videos! I’ll definitely check that guy out. I’ve been watching guided meditations on YouTube by Rasa Lukosiute. Her voice is very soothing and she has a variety of different videos. Highly recommend!
I wish there was a forum for meditation so I could fan girl out on it. 🙂
