Anxiety and acid reflux/gerd

Hi there this is my first post for a while just wanting to know if there's anyone out there suffering from reflux/gerd and taking omeprozole, does it make your anxiety worse I'm constantly on the edge I heard that the omeprozole makes a lot worse????

I have reflux/GERD and have been taking omeprazole for about 2 months now. I was already experiencing off the charts anxiety due to a very stressful last few months. I don't know that it's made the anxiety worse but it hasn't helped the reflux much. I just had an endoscopy done a couple weeks ago and have a doctor appointment this morning to discuss.

I'm on that medication omeprazole with bad acid reflux but I've never heard of that making anxiety worse, what makes you think its effecting your anxiety?

I take omeprazole,its fine with me,it keeps down the acid an the bloating I feel in my chest that makes me panic all the time

You mention the bloating feeling in your chest. Where in your chest do you feel it? I get a bloated feeling in the top part of my stomach like just a little bit below my sternum. Sometimes feels like a small balloon has been inflated in there.

No but lately my heartburn has been terrible. It radiates to my jaw and hurts!!!
