I've been dealing with severe health anxiety since early January. It's gotten so bad I cant leave the house. It started out as a zoning out and dizziness that lead to me having full blown attacks out of the blue. Now I feel like I'm half zoned out all the time and get super scared and "sick" when I leave the house. Does anyone else feel like they need to just open up their head and clean it out...? Haha sounds weird but I feel like that's what I need.

Anybody else feel like they need to shake their head to clear it?
I can understand what you are saying ktuf. It's a very uncomfortable feeling. I have it right now and for me, it's a sign I have not had much water today. Once I hydrate, it will clear up. It's like there are so many thoughts within your head that it does need to be cleaned out Try drinking more water during the day, it may be the answer.
You don't want to start being afraid to go out. That's how mine started and stayed with me for 5 years. Never want to be in that position again. Feel better, more clear headed. x
Thank you I'll give it a try. I started therapy a few weeks ago so hopefully it helps! How did you get through it?
ktuf, once you get in the habit of hydrating, accepting anxiety as not harmful, addressing your stress issues with a therapist and learning other methods to relax your mind and body each day, that head feeling will go away. When it does come back
it will be just for a short time reminding you to hydrate as well as lower your stress level. Stay positive, it does work.
Thanks so much for your reply!
I deal with anxiety as well it’s a terrible feeling I agree with agora1 staying hydrated is key and I know it’s cliché but deep breathing helps me a lot I am Christian so praying also helps me ❤️
Yea i reconise all those feeling like my mind jumps from one health problem to another i wake up each morning feeling nauseous have poor appetite no interest in anything my head just feels wooly and just full of scary thoughts all the time and not wanting to go to far from home im thinking of trying a course of hypnotherapy to see if it will help.
Sorry for the late reply, I think you and I are very similar. Everything you've said sounds just like me.
So sorry i didn't reply im doing a bit better now but still tend to dwell on things that normally wouldn't bother me if i could learn to try and relax more , i hope your are feeling somewhat better these days .
Kind regards
Sandywell .
