Imagine if they really were beautiful butterflies! 😉 I’m sorry that you are dealing with that today. Hopefully from here things will settle down some.

Hi Minnie87, I totally understand. Not a day goes by that I don't wake up to the surges and butterfly feelings in my solar plexus and stomach. As the day goes on, I tend to not notice it as much and then the feeling starts to diminish. What I did find that works is deep breathing. (I know I probably say that in each and every response I give) But for me it works, so I don't knock it :)

On that first inhalation, the butterfly feeling stops momentarily. Apparently anxiety doesn't like that I'm taking back control. It wants to keep me in that state of fear. Give it a try as well as get your mind on something else and it should help at least for a while. xx

Hi agora

Thank you.its a really strange feeling isnt it.not painful just horrible.i totally agree that with the first inhalation.its heaven.

Im going to sit tonight with you tube meditation and try to get these gone.

Its funny, when im in bed i never get them.and i sleep so soundly all night.

Mine seem to start slowly in the morning and get bad throughout the day.especially if i go to a shop or am in the car.

Thank you so much for your knd words as always.

Hope your okay today and is lovely and sunny where you are xxx

Hi Minnie, you’re not alone... These sensations are really exasperating... I find walking daily helps shift the excess of adrenaline. And yes, breathing is great. Have you ever tried qigong? It’s a bit like taichi, slow, meditative movements with deep breathing. It’s wonderful! I go to weekly classes and it has really helped, as, once you’ve learnt new movements, you can do them at home and keep practising.

Take care 😊x
