So its been almost 3 years of feeling terrible it started as strange spells that would come once or twice a week that slowly started coming more, they are kinda like a strange feeling of being high or like confused very odd, about a year ago i started getting really bad eye floaters and now im plauged with severe fatigue and memory issues, i keep seeing spots that look like raindrops flying all over my vision randomly and I'm so scared that I'm going to just die. I've seen quite a few doctors ive had mris blood work and tons more work ups and they have found nothing at all

Dawners, you've had an MRI scan, they don't get any better than that and you've had blood tests and other medical attention and they found nothing. Accept the Nothing, dawners, don't keep looking for some organic disease when there isn't one. I would say you have health anxiety which us pretty common. Jangled nerves are very good at mimicing organic illness but your's aren't organic they are the fake illnesses that anxiety sends our way. And believe me fake anxiety illnesses are much preferable to real organic illness.

I too get visual disturbances that are anxiety symptoms, for the past two days I see a shimmer on bright objects. I've had it many times before so I don't fear it, I know what ut is and that it will pass. I also get black marks in my vision when I blink whilst looking at a white wall or white clouds, I've even invented a name for them 'Sky Blinkers Syndrome'. So you're not alone in having visual disturbances as a symptom of anxiety. But they can't harm your eyes, like other physical symptoms and strange feelings they happen because our nervous systems have become temporarily over sensitive.

This usually starts because we go through a period of stress, worry, overwork, disappointment, grief, toxic relationships and eventually our nervous systems rebel by becoming over sensitised.

Then we start getting strange symptoms which frighten us and we start pumping our fear hormones that maintain our nerves in their over sensitised state.

What caused your nerves to react this way only you can say but the first thing is to neutralise the negative things that have caused you so much stress even if it means being ruthless. After all your mental well-being is at stake here.

Then you need to stop fearing all these symptoms visual and otherwise that have been plaguing you, stop pumping out the fear hormones that are keeping your nerves so sensitive. You do this by simply accepting the symptoms for the time being, accept them calmly and with the minimum of fear knowing that they cannot harm you and that by doing so your are enabling your own recovery. Because when the fear stops your nerves return to normal, lose their over sensitivity, and at that point your symptoms cease and you recover.

Fear is the enemy, fear is what is causing your viual disturbances and strange feelings, overcome fear by accepting the symptoms and your recovery is assured.
