In short, been feeling lightheaded, anxiety and basically not myself for several months now, Had ENT doctors look at things, everything fine, had a heart cath and ekg, everything fine, blood work all normal, kidneys fine, heart sonogram, all good... really been to several different doctors and Everyone keeps telling me I am fine but this does not stop the weird feeling in my head, sort of like being stoned or buzzed, lightheaded and want to do nothing but lay in bed. head is always feeling ..... odd, not right, just a feeling of uneasiness like wired from to much coffee or something, very hard to explain. Starting to think im going crazy, even getting depressed enough it effects my daily living. Not sure where to turn or what to try next, all I know is the feelings are Real! can Anxiety really cause these issues? I don't Think I am worried about anything, and seem to have a stress free life but maybe subconsciously there s anxiety. the feeling is constant most days but does come and go IF I can make myself get out and do something, otherwise it is something I cant seem to shake off. anyone else have similar issues?

Yes anxiety can cause all the symptoms you are having and much more. I've had it all my life and thru the years my symptoms have evolved from one thing to another. You've described how I felt in the beginning of my diagnosis. I also felt stoned and confused it's a terrible feeling. I need meds to help with it and they help a lot also counseling. I hope you find the help you need to feel better and get back to a level of normalcy.

thanks for the reply, just sitting here e this morning at work, hard to consintrate on it as I am having these crazy head issues, almost a combination of smoking a joint, drinking way to much coffee. jittery feeling, sort of sick to stomach, just want to crawl in bed away from people. makes me feel pretty dumb really as every test that as been done says "you are normal!" well.... normal this isn't!! even got so bad a month or so ago, I had thoughts of suicide, THAT, made me very uncomfortable! but for crying out loud, someone has to have a solution, ugh...

You really need relief and sooner rather then later. I've been prescribed klonopin for these types of anxiety attacks and they helped immensely. They didn't give me any weird high feeling or nothing they litteraly made me feel calm and back to normal. I hope you can find a Dr who will see you definitely are suffering from anxiety and depression. Maybe you can pick a new Dr and when they ask why you are scheduling an appointment you can say right up front it's anxiety and depression and get the much needed help. I'm so sorry you are having suicidal thoughts please try to reroute your train of thought when that happens. Trust me I know exactly what you are experiencing. I also take effexor for my depression I am on the highest dose they can give me because it just wasn't strong enough and I'm feeling better each week I am on it. Relief is out there. It does take a lot of pushing sometimes to get to the right meds and doses. Hang in there hun you'll get there. Just keep going ok
