I’ve smoked weed for 10 months and I’m to the point where I constantly feel like I’m out of touch with reality and it scares me and gives me such bad anxiety and I’ve struggled with anxiety since I was a child but I just feel so so scared and I’m hoping for coping skills or something to help me feel grounded...

Honestly man I used to do a lot of crazy drugs in my life and I used to smoke all the time also & one thing I’ve noticed is no matter what, (indica or sativa) I’ll still get anxious or panic. So I completely cut out smoking and I’ll just drink here and there.
Sometimes our minds just can’t handle it
I get like this too sometimes when i smoke sativa, usually indica is the better option as it mellows your mind out more! But something I’ve learned along the way is analyzing myself before I drink,smoke etc. first ask yourself how u feel, and if the answer is bad,sad, negative, don’t smoke, don’t do what you’re about to do bc that will only suppress your feelings more. If the answer is good, happy, then move on to the next question and ask yourself: “ok if I’m happy then why do i need this?” And if ur answer is bc everyone else is doing it,then again restrict yourself from doing it & the goal is to eventually not need anything to stimulate yourself! It’s all about balance which is much easier said than done.
Smoking dope leads to mental problems for a large number of people but you knew that when you started smoking it.
