Citilapram and heart palps

Hi I’ve just started a very low dose of citilapram and along with nausea and heightened anxiety I have been having strong palpatations. Any one else experienced this, please put my mind at rest as I’ve been awake all night worrying. I took it at about 10pm

Hi , sounds like you’ve got yourself anxious about taking the cit and heightened your anxiety causing extra adrenaline, hence palpitations etc . Having said that cit can also cause what you’re experiencing and does take time to settle into your system. You will be ok keep with it ( try not to think too much into it .) hope this helps.

Thank you it really really does help. Only been on it a few days and feel slightly worse than I did before. I also have some Diaz which I had to take last night and during the night to help. Thank you for your reassurance tho x
