I’m a bit worried. I’ve been poorly as you may know from my last post and I’ve yet again had to have time off work. I’m really worried though because I cannot afford to lose my job under any circumstances. I’ve already been flagged for my attendance due to a few sicknesses so naturally I’m worried about the repercussions of this absence.
I’m terrified of losing my job I don’t want my partner to have to struggle with paying the bills by himself and stressing himself out if I lose it.
What can I do?!?

your work should be more sympathetic towards you if they know you struggle with anxiety/stress or depression.cant you ask for a week off or just take sick leave due to stress.
They understand the anxiety side of things, it’s other health issues that I’ve been having as of late. I think the worry is setting my anxiety off. Unfortunately we’re only legally entitled to a certain amount of days off sick each year and I’m past that quota and haven’t accrued enough holiday to take it as that yet 🤔
Hello I’m not sure where it works where you live but where I am they cannot sack you if you give a doctor’s note. If You’re under a contract for a certain amount of hours then that have to give them to you.
It’s meant to be the same here but I’ve still been warned about my attendance even though I’ve had doctors notes each time, this is the first period of sickness I’ve had without a note. Just have to find out what happens tomorrow when I go back
