I need some tips and tricks to control anxiety i hate it so much every time i hear a bump or think of something bad my anxiety goes up and blood pressure i think..... I just need some tips on how to control it thank u 😊

Hi Jamescrider, I'm having the same issue lately. Too reminiscent in days of old. I try to stay one step ahead of anxiety. I do my meditation and deep breathing before the adrenaline switch goes on. Once it gets control, yes, my blood pressure shows it right away. I turn to YouTube and go into deep self hypnosis type meditation. It's the only thing that will bring it down. You know you are overwhelmed about something when every little bump or sound gets you going.
Lastly, change "can't" to "can" control anxiety. Call it's bluff Good Luck
Hi James. I've been there not too long ago. I know we all experience panic/anxiety different but some things that work for me is 4-1-7 breathing. Inhale 4 seconds, hold 1, exhale 7 for 2-3 minutes. If a health symptom is worrying you please schedule a doc appt ASAP or see a specialist to get some closure. If they can't get you in for an appt in less than a few days, call another doc, don't wait. Understand that these symptoms are anxiety and can't physically hurt you. Understand you're not in control of everything and try to let go. Challenge yourself more often with a walk, a run, go out with some friends, hang out with Grandma, Grandma's know all what you're going through and give great advice and support. Sometimes I make myself smile until I start to feel better. Watch some animal rescue videos or things that may cause you to tear up. Let go of those emotions and negativity you're holding onto. Stay positive and list things on paper that you're grateful for every day.
