The last week and half I have been getting lots of pulps, skipping, fluttering and stopping . It’s really scaring me as I have never had them this bad . They take my breath away . I hit my chest and cough to help get it back into Rythim . Is this normal ? Does anyone else get this ?

Yes this is quite normal with anxiety. If you’ve never had it before, it can be very unsettling and uncomfortable. I would recommend that you speak with your doctor for reassurance and to make sure it is just anxiety. You can try marine magnesium as it helps a lot to regulate the heart. Also try hawthorn tablets. It really helps too. Walking or any other physical activity will settle your palpitations.
With best wishes 😊
Yes, I have experienced this. The more I thought about it the worse I got. A real vicious cycle that was hard to break. For me, I started wearing one of those fitness trackers that monitor my heart rate throughout the day. Once I looked at the figures I realised actually my heart wasn't racing all the time, just when I was thinking about it and checking. For some reason, this made a HUGE difference for me as I was safe in the knowledge that actually I wasn't ad bad as I thought. Now the palps, racing heart and missed beats have all but gone.
The only time I still always get this is if I have trapped wind. Some gaviscon tablets / mints and a few big burps and it all goes away again.
Understanding your body and trying not to overly worry is the key to getting control.
