Parents make me anxious

I am the only child and my parents expect to see me every weekend .. I see them a lot and have a 2 year old... they are very negative to me and my daughter does not really like them....

Every time they come over I have to clean every nook and cranny for my mom and it’s exhausting

Any help would be appreciated

I think that it is important to remember that you are your own person. I am sure you love your parents but you are an adult with a child and you have to forget about them judging you. You are doing your best. Do not let them bring you down and upset you simply because they are your family. Their opinions about you are important but not as important as how you view yourself. If you feel that you are a good person and a good mother, screw the rest. Do what is best for you and your child. They will come around to see how harsh they are being on you.

Why not suggest coming over every 2nd or 3rd weekend that way you don’t have to drive yourself mad every week but still they get to visit too xx 😘
