Last night, A curtain rod from my window had fell and hit the back of my head lightly. Not that hard just lightly. I have raised my window up too high and that's what made it fall. After that, I got tension and afraid that it will lead to something dangerous..for an ex? Brain bleeds, seizures, cracked skull. Yeah.
I'm a big hypochondriac and I am trying my best not to think about it alot cause' my anxiety will get worse, anyways, have anyone experience this?
Thanks, Deanna.

Hi Deanna, how is your head feeling today? I do remember that happening to me once long ago. Depending on the size of the rod, it can hurt but most of all it was a shock in how doing simple things can sometimes lead to an accident.
I usually suggest putting a cold pak right after a bump on the head to avoid bruising and soreness. By now, it should feel better. Is there a bump where it hit you? Believe it or not, our heads are pretty residual to bumps along the way. Let us know how you are doing today xx
It's feeling better but a bit tense. Probably from me thinking about it too much. I didn't experience nothing else other than the symptoms from last night, but the rod seems fake and it didn't crash on my head hard but it did lightly and I felt some tense afterwards.
And ouch! Did you experience new symptoms after that? Like the ones I have mentioned before? I'm still nervous and have bump my head into walls, floors, and car roofs lol. I hate when this type of stuff happen to me.
It will be a little sore for a few days but should go away with no problems. I have neck problems and so if I bump my head and I can't count the times on the edge of an opened kitchen cabinet door or the frame of the car door, I get referred pain in my neck more than my head. If that should happen again that you bump your head, always apply a frozen bag of peas or other veggie from the freezer. On 15 min, off 15 min will help it from not being as sore. Right now, you are okay. You'll just have to see it through for a couple days. xx
Agora1 is giving you good advice, and sorry, sometimes there are some posts that are unintentionally missed. Try to relax a bit, you're going o be ok.xx
Having bumped my head extremely badly and developed a brain clot i can tell you that it is extremely highly unlikely to miniscutal statistical improbability that you will not have hit it hard enough.Plus i was on warfarin a blood thinner at the time. The skull is hard bone made hard to pfotect your delicate brain.if every slight bump caused bloodclots we would never survive.Dont worry you will be fine in my experience. My doctors said it it very unusual for a bump to cause bloodclots or fractures except in very young babies.?i will pipoint ou that i hit my head extremely hard and hit it right on a mitred corner on an oak chest right behind my ear as i was standing up with speed. It takes a lot of force and i still only got a clot be ause i take warfarin to thin my blood.
