Hi everyone, you all know I have been suffering with a choking phobia for 4 months so far,but I have slowly made some progress. At first I was chewing everything until it was nothing, then got where I hardly ate anything for fear. From there I progressed to cream of chicken soup and yogurts, then chicken noodle soup. Now I'm eating other things like peanut butter crackers, puddings, and tonight I ate a turkey burger pattyand a salad. I know it doesn't seem like much but to me its huge, especially from where I started. I owe all of this to everyone on here encouraging me,telling me in not alone and will get through this, plus knowing that a few of you have or had the same problem. And I thank God because without him as well I would not have made it. I still have a ways to go but I will get there. Thank you all that have helped me,prayed for me and understood. Please keep the prayers coming. I love you all. ❤💕

Hi, sooooo happy for you!😊
That's good news, can you tell us what caused you to be able to eat more? Was it a medication or some change of outlook? If you're able it would help others to know. Until your eating habits are 100% back to normal may I suggest a good multivitamin tablet by the way.
Thank you jeff1943. I got to eating more because my husband would sit with me at night to eat supper even after he already finished his meal,he would tell me over and over that it did not matter how long it took me to eat as long as I did it. During the day when my husband had to work it was harder to eat,but my little girl would say "mom I'll help, just hold my hand",may sound crazy but she actually did help. It never hurt to have music or the tv on to listen to so your mind doesn't think to much about it.
Thank you for telling us how you did it, very well done.
