Why do anti-depressant pills make me feel worse than better
how long have you been taking them? They do take a while to kick in if they are going to work and you can feel a bit worse to start off with
your brain doesn't know what these pills are that your taking so that's why it makes u feel worse at the start and when your brain gets used to it will become better so because your brain doesn't know u might get more anxiety
Don’t despair. Anti depressants and anti anxiety medication has many side effects which are different for each person. I always get far worse in the first four weeks taking them, the next four weeks they flatten out and then there is some improvement. Four months on I am nearly back to my anxiety free self. For some people the side effects only last a week.
I know it’s very hard, but you just have to push through it as best you can in the knowledge that it will all come good in the end. Take the positive message that you are the road to recovery and there is light at the end of the tunnel. When I was feeling really bad I found exercise helped
Good luck
im on my 5 months on 15 mg cipralex it helps my depression but not my anxiety
I never found an antidepressant that worked for me either. I tried 3 different ones, each for 3 months. It’s a wonder I was able to last 3 months as each time it was brutal. It’s bad without them, but with them made it even worse.
There’s probably something that works for you, it’s just a process finding the right something.
I’ve ordered kratom and been taking 4 capsules of the red vein Kali strain a day. Seems to be working. It’s very calming for anxiety.
I’m tired of doctors which I can’t pay for anyway, and also paying for meds that don’t work. A friend from here mentioned it to me, so I gave it a try.
