Chest pain is getting worse!!!

I'm so scared, I've been having palpitations off and on for a few months now but I'm really scared because my heart is beating so fast and hard like its coming thru my chest. I hope its palpitations and not a heart attack. Anybody else ever went thru this??? This is freaking me out. I feel like I can barely breathe.

Hi Amarie, Yes even me also. At this time we need some one or something to divert. Share your problem. you feel good first. Nothing to worry about that because it's just a feeling that keep us like that. When you feel like oh my god i have palpitation so my heart gonna give something really bad now.. It's 100% our mindset and sometimes small health issues and scary things and fear. Fear is the main reason for this palpitation. What will happens to you Amarie. Nothing going to happen to you.. you are a cool person. Feel like that. Be strong.

A strong person can beat cancer. A strong person can beat anxiety. We need to be strong and we need to thing positive this time divert your mind.

Thank you so much. I've been trying to stay calm and keep myself occupied by doing other things to keep my mind off my symptoms. Just feel they've gotten worse over the past few days.

If you’re a sufferer of anxiety, this is highly likely to be anxiety symptoms and not a heart problem. When we’re stressed and anxious, the limbic system in our brain is engaged. That systems regulates other parts of our body including things like our heart rate. It’s part of the fight/flight system, which is why when threatened by say, a lion, our hearts race and we go into survival mode. Chronic anxiety is a state where this system is regularly engaged, as if your brain has a siren going constantly going off. As a consequence symptoms can regularly include heart palpitations, chest tightness, etc... if you don’t have meds, try deep, long breaths. 10 seconds in through the nose, hold until you can’t anymore, then exhale slowly out through your mouth. Also, it sounds counterintuitive, but try going on a run or some other workout. Working out activates that same nervous system and can help relieve anxiety, by replacing it with regular old workout exhaustion. If you’re really worried, see your doctor and have them run a test to make sure you don’t have any heart problems - though I’m pretty confident this is probably anxiety. Nonetheless, peace of mind can never hurt! Feel better and best wishes!

I have a similar problem. I’ll get a fluttering feeling and my heart will hurt. It happens a lot when I’m really anxious and panicking, but on occasion it will happen out of nowhere when I’m calm. It can be really scary.

If it’s happening during stressful times and when your anxious I’d say it’s probably related to that, however, with all chest pains it’s best to let your doctor know. Best to be safe and overly cautious.

Your heart muscles are simply sensitised by too much adrenaline, the pain will be muscular skeleton, not anything organic like heart disease, try let your heart beat fast as it wants to, as much acceptance as possible,it can beat fast foreply months without damage, check out books by Dr claire weekes a day videos, essential help for your nerves amazon used paperback, really cheap ,keith
