I cant sleep I have shortness of breath. 2 weeks ago my doctor prescribed 0.25mg of xanax to take whenever I cant sleep. I havent take one cause I was doing ok. But these past 3 days I was having trouble to sleep and tonight I cant sleep. Anyone took xanax while having shortness of breath and helped? I am afraid of taking xanax

Take it as it will help you sleep . I’m in Australia and have what’s called Kalma ak Xanax and I take it when needed . Some nights when my brain won’t stop racing I take it . And then I can go weeks without it . It won’t hurt you

I took Xanax while going through chemo for Lung cancer. I had no side affects and it helped me relax and sleep. The problem with Xanax is that it has a very short half life. I take Klonopin now. It is much like Xanax with a lot longer half life. Good luck and God bless.
