Heartburn and anxiety

I feel like heartburn and chest pain are my biggest trigger. I feel like I have anxiety induced heartburn the more I panic the more my chest hurts and I know the snack I had before bedtime was not the best choice and now I can't get to sleep because I'm overly focused on my chest pain. Has anyone had/have the same thing and how did you overcome this or how do you cope?

Hey there I’ve just experienced some acid reflux myself only an hour ago now I am fixated on it! My worry isn’t a heart attack mine is cancer of any kind.. be strong and remember to keep going forward cause that’s the only way life’s taking you

Thanks so much! I hate that I can get in my head and dwell so bad! I'm learning to stop the negative thoughts and focus on all the positive arround me!

No problem.. I scared to actually eat lol.. I get these random bouts of anxiety that seem to make me fixate.. I’m trying heaps hard to change my diet as I know I need to eat better but it’s so hard when your so busy

Oh my goodness i get the same thing sometimes. Sometimes i think I'm having a heart attack, or heart problems. I think my heart stops beating as well, for 1 or 2 seconds. I get so frightened and i can't sleep after it happens. I just try to ride it out and try to lay in a position where i can't hear my heartbeat. I also just do deep breaths to try to calm myself down and think positive thoughts like "my heart is fine, it's not skipping a beat".
