How many others on here worry about having MS? I have seen a neurologist & had clear MRI’s & everyone has said I do not have MS yet I’m convinced I do. Apparently you can have clean MRI’s but still have MS this occurs in around 5% of patients. Has anybody encountered this?

I do. But I recently met my Birth-mother and found out that she has it so...
I've been taking better care of myself and all to prevent it. I've been taking Vitamin D which I hear is supposed to help but, rather than worry about it, I am somehow able to have a "we'll cross that bridge when we come to it" attitude. I can't do that with anything else in my life but MS, back of my mind. *laughing* I'm strange.
Have you seen a nutritionist? Sometimes similar symptoms of MS turn out to be diet related. Just a thought. I wish you the best.
Hi there, I had an MRI almost 3 years ago because I was worried I had a brain tumour. Came back negative for any tumours but I had lesions meaning possible MS...was not expecting that! Anyway the neurologist was not convinced I had MS and put the lesions down to having migraines when I was younger. 15% of the population have these lesions and they are harmless. I wish I had never had that scan because I have never felt convinced that I don't have MS and my life has been plagued for the last 3 years because of that scan, especially when I experience the physical symptoms...but my doctors are all still saying I don't have it and that it's all anxiety. I guess what I'm trying to say to you is, take the good news of a clear MRI and feel reassured that you're ok. I would give anything for a clear MRI even though I'm ok just like yourself, I would be so grateful to have had one 😊
