Does anybody else find mornings really difficult?
Mornings: Does anybody else find mornings... - Anxiety Support
Mornings
Anxiety is often most noticeable when we awake, this may be because levels of the hormone cortisol are at its peak at 8a.m. and too much cortisol can cause anxiety. A natural antidote to cortisol is L-thianine a substance found in green tea so I suggest starting the day with a mug of green tea, you can get a pack of green teabags for about one £$ in any supermarket.
I find it helps me if I'm a bit edgy first thing but others find it has no effect. Worth trying though.
Yes, I find mornings and evenings difficult. In between much easier. Anyone have any advice?
Morning anxiety for me is bad- my tummy is always upset in the morning and my muscles ache. You're not alone.
Every morning fine all day and all night just in the morning I don't want to get out of bed
My mornings are at worst aswell...i feel My anxiety and depression in my sleep just before I wake up...I get up and have a shower straight away and it eases off..If not, I could easily stay in bed all day..
Yes if I’m up early for work my anxiety is at its worst . Racing heart , off balance , feeling sick . But if I’m not working and have a sleep in I’m pretty good . But why ??
The mornings are the worst for me too. I feel ok right when I wake up, but after I’ve been up for a half hour or so all the physical symptoms start to creep in. I was just asking myself why yesterday. For me personally I think it’s become a habit. In the back of my mind I find myself thinking “I wonder when it’s going to kick in” and then it does. So I’m going to try consciously breaking the habit pattern. Wish me luck. 😉
