GAD & depression treatment help

Hello all, 🙂

I am just hoping someone could offer me advice on if anything has worked for them and if so, what it is

I was disangosed with GAD and depression a few months ago and have tried anti depressants, both tablets making me really ill and unable to continue taking them.

I was therefore wondering what other treatments are available. Eg. Have people had anti-anxiety tablets rather than anti-depressants? Has anyone had therapy treatments? And if so, what sort of format do they take? What happens? Has it worked?

Basically, I know we’re all different and one solution for one person won’t help another bit just hoping to hear anyone’s experience on the road to feeling better and slightly more normal again. Feeling like I’ll never achieve a normal life 🙁

Any advice/success stories would be super appreciated. Thank you x
