Hi take the Valium it will relax you I have 2 mg and have taken just half a tablet and that calms me down.I just take when I'm really anxious or for going on plane I take 2 mg night before and then 30 mins before getting on plane.they are best medication for calming nerves.

I took half of a half it didn't do anything noticeable maybe I should have taken the whole half which would be 2.5 mg? My doctor said to take as needed for like social gatherings travel ext. Is it safe to take like 2 times a week?

Hi how you getting on with the diazepam ? Sometimes you need to take it for a day or two to calm you right down.then try and go as long as possible before you take another ,as they can be addictive but if you just take when you have tried everything else.they are a god send for calming you down.

I took 2.5 mg yesterday and 2.5 today I still feel pretty anxious today supossed to go with my mom and I'm still really nervous. And I have noticed I get a headache when it's wearing off

The headache is caused by the tension building up again.as anxiety causes muscle tension.take a paracetamol for the headache and do a few relaxation moves ie move your shoulders round rota and move head side to side will help loosen tight muscles.you are doing good by just taking 2.5

I had 2 anxiety attacks last weekend one at the store and one at the pool hall now that's all I think about is leaving the house and having another one I dk if I should cancel with my mom or push myself

Push yourself to go don't fear going outside.make yourself go even if you feel anxious as this will help with your recovery.trust me I have pushed myself many times even when I had severe anxiety and wobbly legs.just tell yourself it adrenalin rush because you are anxious and it will pass.this will help you loose your fear of fear.it will get less and less and you will be with your mum.

A moderate dose of 5 mg Valium - can actually be quite problematic if taken for more than 2 - 4 weeks, as far as tolerance and withdrawal effects are concerned.

Be extremely wary of taking more than 5 mg/day and for longer than 4 weeks. Even if taken intermittently for short periods- as you would seem to be taking it can give you grief when time comes to stop taking Valium. Don't ignore just how difficult and horrible the WDs can be for some people if taken for a long period. Google Benzo withdrawals and you will soon see what I'm saying.
