Had my first day on my new job, feel so good having done it, struggled a bit but I powered through and I feel much more at ease about it 🙂 met some lovely people, I feel like I will be okay in this job, the more I do it the easier it will become and the better I’ll feel about it 🙂 anyone have any tips on how they cope in work when they’re anxious? Just in case I need to use them myself 🙂
Thanks!

That's good news, cs13993, you should feel proud of yourself. Starting a new job is always an anxious time, even more so when you experience anxiety disorder. Occupation is always good for people with high anxiety, it stops us from thinking too much about ourselves.
If bad feelings do strike whilst at work just accept them and carry on with the job, don't fight them and keep testing for them, just accept them and go with the flow. Wishing you all the best in your new job.
Thank you Jeff1943 🙂 I’m pretty nervous about it again today but it’s expected, I’m trying to keep in mind all the benefits it will have in the long term for my mental health. Trying to force myself to eat too because it’s made my appetite suffer. I’m sure eventually I will find my comfort zone with the job and be able to do it without the nerves being so bad 🙂
