So, Lying down to go to sleep. Now I'm getting random brain blips of things like tv show lines in that characters voice. Not directed at me or anything, just there while I'm trying to relax and go to sleep. Also getting random words and whatnot popping in at times. Its scaring me. This can't be anxiety, can it?

Scared I'm going crazy. Part two.
Hi there. Believe me I have had this happen to me 3 years ago. You described it perfectly. It's more than just the brain unable to keep quiet or a song playing over and over in your mind. This is more serious and disturbing to sleep. My psychologist at the time told me it was anxiety but she kept monitoring me because I think other illness has similar symptom. I lost sleep because the tv like voices and noise was too much. It's as if your brain is on playback with things you've heard before and TV shows you've watched but they aren't talking at you, it's just there on continuous play. I noticed with myself it went away when I started Zoloft and also Temaze for sleep. That's a horrible symptom. I never heard anyone else describe it so perfectly. I thought I was becoming unhinged. Bring this up with your Dr.
Is it only when you go to sleep? It sounds a lot like Hypnagogia, which is a fairly common condition and nothing to worry about at all, I have it myself. Definitely talk to your doctor though, it could be something to do with anxiety or medications you’re on. Hope you get it sorted! x
Medication can cause a lot of different symptoms call you pharmacist they know about the medicine you're taking.
I still get this sometimes
