Why does my dizziness never go away? I could move, walk one step, stretch, look down, turn around. Just any simple movement makes me dizzy. No anxiety meds help with this. I don’t have vertigo. I’ve tried vertigo meds, I’ve tried heart meds, I’ve tried allergy meds and nothing helps. What can I do?

Hey girl, I have a lot of the same issues. Unfortunately it's probably due to anxiety. There isn't much that helps me but Ativan. I try not to take it too often, but I know what you're going through and it's the worst. Just keep your head up because it will get better!

Same here. All I have to do is make a sudden move and I'm dizzy. Idk if You wear glasses but that can cause it if they're not sitting properly on your face, another is anemia... my Dr. Told me that, and she also mentioned something about the ears and sinus.

Me too (and I'm an old timer compared to a lot of you)! It is due to anxiety - websites such as Calm Clinic explain this so well. The only solution to this is to follow the teachings of Claire Weekes and relax, float and let more time pass as well as gentle exposure therapy in situations which exacerbate this symptom for you.

You can do it - you will get there. You're stronger than anxiety. It's just a bunch of stress chemicals from the fight or flight response sloshing around in your system and scaring the life out of you, but they can't harm you. xxx

Hi SheezusChrist, I'm sorry to hear that the dizziness won't go away and the anxiety meds are not helping. From my own experience, it can very well be the meds that are making your anxiety worse by causing the way you are feeling. Once your body has reached tolerance levels and nothing seems to work anymore, it might be time to have your doctor wean you off your meds.

I know it sounds crazy and a little bit frightening as well. The meds themselves can cause the dizziness. Ever since I am off my benzos, I have not had one day of dizziness because there are no chemicals in my brain. My brain is healed and now manufacturing it's own natural chemicals.

Rather than keep upping the dose and adding more medication, please have a talk with your prescribing doctor about how he feels in regards to you coming off the meds. Just a thought. It worked for me and I wasn't even aiming for that. I just didn't want to continue putting drugs in my body that weren't working anyway. I never thought the results would be a cure for my symptoms

Take care of yourself. Become your own advocate by getting involved in your mental health care. Find out all you can about drugs and it's side effects (not from Google) but a reputable Medical Site on the internet.

I support you in whatever you decide to do. I just want you to start feeling like yourself again. You so deserve it. xx
