I have fast heart beat for the last 3 days without stopping, is this normal?

All body shakes, more like light tremor and lots of pain in my upper tights and in limb muscles/ or bones, not sure!

Anxiety and that ugly feeling does not leave me for a minute!

Is it my heart or just one of symptoms of anxiety, anybody experience the same?

Tried to ignore it but it started to worry so so much!

Ab2009, If it is staying that high, you should at least call your doctor. He may advise you to take something to calm your body down. xx

Agora1/"Keep Moving"-thank you very much!

Now when resting it is 142/89 bp 68 but will see doctor tomorrow!

That is something new to me- another set back! :(

Probably it is time for medication, was avoiding everything so far!

I'm glad to hear you are seeing your doctor tomorrow.

Medication isn't the worst thing....at least it will give you a break. It's the best thing I ever did. I feel so much better now. Good Luck tomorrow, let us know how you do. xx

I would think a beta blocker such as Metoprolol 25mg would help you and possibly help your anxiety also, but again see a doctor

ironmick883, I'm on it. For me it's been a miracle drug both with blood pressure and anxiety. :) x

Agora1, What if you don’t mind me asking what you take ? I’m about to start zoloft 25mg . I don’t want to but I’m always at an anxious stat and fear of dying and I gets ten times worse near and during my monthly Woman hood.

Hi Crystal81, I've been off Benzos for over 3,000 days (still counting) but I'm on still on Lexapro. I'm also on Metoprolol for blood pressure, Cartia for my A-Fib. It took a lot of trial and error to come down to these meds as well as dosages. :) x

Diastolic 172 is very high

Systolic 104 again high

Bmp 77 is within normal stats. TBH if your Diastolic and Systolic is that high you need to see the DR as they are both worrying.

I was in hospital the other week because of similar readings ,I have panic attacks my heart beat was 102 dia was 172 syst was 104 the hospital wanted to keep me in for observation but I had to go out as hospital's make me feel worse

well you pulse seems fine to me, the blood pressure is a little high though, but anxiety definitely can cause that, i just went through a situation where i had the stomach bug, my heart rate stayed 110-120 for a whole day, just from that, and had to have re assurance, sure enough, Doctors told me not to worry at all about it.

Seems like your heart bpm is fine and your bp is a little high. Of course you should always seek medical help if ypu dont feel good. But, I have had years of sporadic high heart rates beacuse of anxiety , like upto 130 bom while resting and really high bp! After all kinds of test , its anxiety and acid reflux :/ breath in/ out of your stomach like 10 times in a row. Think of good things and tell yourself you are okay, that helps me tremendously . Anxiety attacks are no fun, dont panic, it will soon go away. ...if its an anxiety attack. Happy thanksgiving ! :)

Thank you so much for your reply and support, it means so so much to me!

It is amazing how doctors are treating us differently, I was told by my doctor not to worry at all, hopefully he understood what is the problem as I was crying all the time, I promised myself I wouldn’t but ... He said he will monitor my blood pressure for 24 hours but I have to wait for that monitor, it might take a few weeks, that is not right in my opinion!

Finally I will start taking medication, Citalopram, I welcome it now as anxiety was breaking me slowly!

I feel even worse now, as I have just put my little dog down 😰

I'm so sorry Ab2009 about your little dog. The hurt is incredible I know and can be contributing to your physical symptoms without a doubt. I went through that loss with my beautiful German Shepherd Brandy many years ago. It still brings a tear to my eyes but a smile in my heart when I think of her. Grieve in your own way in your own time. xx
