Another symptom 🤷🏼‍♀️

So now I'm having headaches in the back of my head, went to the dr gave me muscle relaxers and a medro 5 day pack. Can't take pain meds, cuz allergic to codeine😔 And it's not helping. When will this ever end. Anyone else get everyday allday headaches, and what did you do to ease or stop them🙏🏻

Hi Normal63, I'm sorry to hear you are now having headaches. Did the doctor say they were muscle contraction/tension headaches? I suffered w/headaches for many years, both migraine and tension headaches. What is a medro pack? Because I never wanted pain pills. I tried many different methods of relieving the pain, some days they brought me to tears. Heat worked for me the best in reducing the spasms and trigger points in my neck and shoulders. Listening to relaxation tapes over and over helped as well. I didn't know about deep breathing then but I'm sure that might have helped. I used a tens unit, hypnotherapy, acupuncture, massage therapy and water exercise. I had on rare occasions a neck collar as well as had physical therapy. All in all, I missed a lot in life because of the headaches. I read everything I could get my hands on regarding the different types of headaches that existed as well as ways to control them.

I hope you find what works best for you. It does make you feel horrible all over when you never get a break from the pain. Wishing you better days ahead. xxx

It's a pack of steroids you take a few pills a day for 5days. I'm going to try the heat. Hopefully the will ease up. Hope everyone has a blessed day.

Sounds like anxiety/tension headaches.yes when my anxiety was severe I had headaches every day but they disappeared once the anxiety started to get better.the muscle relaxers will get rid of them as most headaches are caused by tension. You will be fine and headaches will go.
