Two days in a row after eating about an hour later I'm getting extremely bad chest pain along with burping that kind of eases it but then comes back! What is going on? Heart attack? Indigestion? Or something else?

Chest pain
Do you happen to have a burning sensation in the back of your throat? As if you have to puke? This could be acid reflux tbh
Hi. That seems to be a sign of indigestion. Try taking an ant-acid once it appears. If you are in doubt see your doctor. I take 2 pantoprazole one in the morning & 1 in the evening. They are for acid reflux. But you can only get them on prescription. You can buy good ant acids from your chemist e-g gavascon. If symptoms persist see your doctor for a diagnosis & he/she will sort you out. Cheers, Sam
Yes, heartburn or acid indigestion. For me it can be brought on by stress, anxiety, certain painkillers, alcohol, and eating acid foods (salt and vinegar crisps, pickles, acidy sauces, wine, certain spicy foods etc).
Lying down after a meal can aggravate it.
I manage it by diet balance most of the time.
A glass of soya milk after a meal or before I go to bed often helps settle it. I guess it is ph alkaline and counteracts the acid. Failing that a couple of Rennie tablets on top tend to work.
I didn't taste any acid or have any burning it was pure chest pain with lots of burping, but the pain was soooooo intense. I've had heart tests in the past and got 0 on the calcium test. Had many normal egcs also. But honestly I really thought I was going to die.
