Extreme light sensitivity

I do Ashley1489...I think that's one of the reasons I like the dark rainy days. At home, I have room darkeners on the windows summer and winter alike. Whether it's the whiteness of the snow or a bright sunny day, it bothers my eyes...

Once I'm out, I wear sunglasses to eliminate some of the glare. This all started years ago when I use to get daily tension headaches as well as migraines. Anxiety does make your eyes sensitive. Many of us get blurry vision even though eye exams are normal.

Ashley, what causes the light sensitivity is the fact that anxiety dilates the pupils causing the sensitivity as well as eye aches..

Also when anxious, we tend to tighten our facial muscles that constrict the blood vessels in our eyes causing blurred vision.

Anxiety once again the culprit.

I have super intense dream feel vision due to depersonalization/derealization. It's total HELL. When I go to stores I freak out and when I am outside I freak out but I force myself to do everything. Shades help sometimes.

Definitely Hoping Cat. May look a little ridiculous in the store but it helps with the glare of the fluorescent lights. Also use to have trouble with the sound emitted from that kind of lighting. Talk about being sensitive

Have you looked up the symptoms of Dp/dr? Because this is also one of them. Almost like a drunk high feeling without the alcohol or drugs?

I have looked it up... I have dizziness though and sometimes feels like the floor falls under me

Hi yes I thought it was my eyes etc ... I wear sunglasses a lot because I'm sensitive to the light ... worst of all is noise of Ang kind

Hi am also super sensitive to light. I need filtered light in my home and use candles heaps. I too wear sunglasses a lot. I am super sensitive full stop...sounds,smells, taste...and yes sight. so all my senses are amplified...emotions is a bigger too.
