I have that happen like 3 times it's like my anxiety woke me up from my dreams but yes all anxiety related
What type of dream was it? With PTSD I deal with nightmares that definitely affect me after waking up.

Loved one being hurt. I did some breathing excersizes and watched a little tv until it went away.

If you continue to have nightmares that have a consistent theme, let me know if you want. On this venue I have shared one method useful to me to help change an maybe end them.
