Has any one had a symptom of feeling like they are being strangled or a lump in the bottom of their throat. I have been having this all day and I feel like I'm over thinking my breathing making it worst.

I get that all the time when I am anxious. It makes me feel like I am going to cry. It definitely lets me know that I have anxiety! Don't worry, you are not alone with that at all
Yes, I get it now and again when I'm anxious but I've learnt to ignore it because I know it goes away. Try not to worry. I've also found I'm feeling so much better after cutting out gluten and switching to lactose free milk..google the links between gluten and anxiety/depression and the gut/brain link..interesting reading xx
Hi Taranicole31404, you are the tenth person this month to report this symptom of anxiety, it's called Globus Hystericus (hysterical lump) and there is no lump in your throat even if it feels there is. It's just your sensitised nervous system playing tricks on you as per usual. If you accept it, stop testing yourself for it and don't pay it any importance it will eventually pass. It can't harm you though it might be a bit uncomfortable. Nothing to worry about.
