Started taking citalopram 10mg today. I'm shaky and keep having hot flashes. Is this normal? I'm assuming or hoping it will go away if I keep taking them

Citalopram side effects
Hey, yes, that is very normal for when your just starting to take any antideps. It takes a few weeks for your body to adjust to the tablets, so just give it time, keep taking them and you'll slowly start feeling better, to the point where they are in full gear and you'll be feeling how you want to feel, anxiety free and doing okay. Its just whats expected when you start them. Take it easy
Yes, give them your best shot, changed my life...😁..best wishes
I'm still getting hot flashes and feel sick. I haven't taken my pill for today yet. I honestly don't want to cause I don't want to feel like this anymore
A couple of weeks till you settle down is better than years of suffering....take that pill and get better
Side effects are definitely improving. Yay! I took my pill last night at 7 and I think that's why I kept waking up through the night. Would it be OK to take my pill for today now?
Citalopram was, and is a lifesaver for me. I've been on 20mg for about a month now. I felt better after a week.
I had sweats, and shakiness and a little nausea at first. I have dry mouth symptoms that won't seem to go away now while on it either. But it's worth it, I feel like myself again.
I don't think I would have snapped out of the depression and anxiety without it.
