Anxiety is weird

The best way ive heard it described is... you're watching a play go on around you. I can't shake this feeling. Its effecting my ability to work and i have two kids and a wife to support. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

Hi Madmike07, Anxiety is weird, scary, life changing but you can and will overcome it. It does feel as if you are watching a play go on around you. (good analogy) That's because we feel lost of control with our lives. Once you find the tools to handle anxiety it will be much better. What are some of your symptoms and how much does it affect your life? Has your doctor diagnosed you with anxiety? Are you on any meds? Therapy? Let us know how we can support and help you. You certainly are not alone and we do understand how frustrating this can be.

Have you seen your Dr. there are many medications that can help but remember this don't let them put you on high doses of any medicine . I'm like you everyday is a struggle for me I don't want to do anything anymore,I'm taking a small dose of Prozac and Xanax I still don't feel good hopefully I will get better.
