Zoloft increase

Hi I recently went from 50mg to 75mg Zoloft but I am feeling depressed is this normal? When will it make me feel better?

Oh man... I jumped dose weekly starting with 25 and once I reached 100 I was a hot mess!!! Crying all the time, couldn't get out of bed because I was so tired like a zombie and other symptoms so I called my psychiatrist and she took me off it. Call your doctor!

I read that everyone you up the dosage you get side effects... I don't know because my crazy doctor just kept upping and by the 4th week I was a mess. How many weeks have you been on 75? Give it a few weeks

Like 2 weeks, I'll give it 2 weeks more. Yeah I went up little by little . What are you on now??

Some ancient drug called amitriptyline. The lowest dose 10mg which is just helping with sleep and not my major issues. It sucks and I will be calling the doctor soon. Zoloft was the first medication I have ever taken. I hate meds but needed something and Zoloft didn't work

Zoloft it's my first as well how long were you on Zoloft?

Only 6 weeks. I had to come off it. It got me like a zombie, trembling, gave me ance, stomach muscle pain, and sadness. BUT don't let that scare you. Everyone is different and I got a genesight test done to see what madication would work for me and Zoloft was on the colum of " take with caution) so once it gave me weird side effect the doc took me off it.

My psychiatrist decided to do it since Zoloft was giving me a reaction and she didn't want to switch to just any medication.
