Hey.. live in Leicester and would like advise on what professional help I can get. Suffer social anxiety, low confidence and self esteem and depression.. Im deaf and Wear hearing aids... work makes my anxiety worst and I feel most comfortable at home on my own however this makes me frustratiled and depressed! Would love to meet people that are going through simular to know I'm not alone and learn how others cope .

welcome! Any questions just ask? i have severe anxiety/depression and ocd we are in here for advice support and just reassurance if needed hope you are having a good day x

I am seeing my gp he thinks my anxiety and depression comes from a type of ocd

the fact I over thinking everything and get intrusive thoughts which cause the anxiety then onto full blown panic!

I have to plan everything too i hate change.

im currently on mirtazipine 45mg for the anxiety (non effective now) after 7 years I now have fluoxetine 20mg which I have started today! No change ATM but not bad either I have referred myself for counseiling and cbt.

no real diagnosis as yet just my Gp saying that my symptoms are a mixed bag

I have diazepam 5mg for when it gets too bad but I know its all in my head and it will pass but its easier said then done
