Force yourself to go out. Little by little. Don't let it make you become a prisoner.

Hi sweetie, the more you sit and think about it the worse it becomes. I found distraction very helpful. When you start getting anxious find something to do !! It does work. Try go for a walk or some form of excercise you enjoy. Listen to music(not depressing stuff) also meditation is really really good. There is a free app called insight timer that has lots of guided meditations on you may find helpful.Distraction is really helpful .

Talk to someone and let them know you're struggling. Any adult you trust, especially your parents, school counselor or nurse, a teacher, a clergy member, etc. Sometimes just getting it out and knowing you're not coping alone is a huge help. Also talk to your doctor, perhaps a therapist. I wish you luck and calm

I'm so sorry that you feel this way! I had lots of anxiety in school and in university. I'd get nervous, sweat, my heart pounded...I'd leave the classroom and run to the bathroom. I didn't know what was happening. I felt so horrible!

You're not alone at all!. Read other posts on here, lots of good help on here. When I was your age, I wish I had a forum such as this. I'm 49 now.

Look up Dr. Claire Weekes. Read her book and listen to her recordings. She'll help you overcome your anxiety. Also, it's important to begin taking charge of your thoughts by meditation. Listening to guided meditation with earphones on your phone as you relax in bed is a great way to help with anxiety.

Write down all your thoughts and feelings. Keep a journal. This puts all those confusing scary thoughts down on paper and out of your head. When you see them on paper, they don't seem so daunting.

Ask your doctor for an antidepressant to help take the edge off your anxiety. These help greatly but it takes 6 weeks to feel the full effects. Your doctor may give you a mild sedative also. However, these are not the only solutions. Medication needs to be paired with other healthy habits.

Stay away from caffeine, alcohol and get out and walk or run daily! Read as much as you can about anxiety and become educated about it. You're very young, don't let this stop you. You don't have to suffer! You're not alone at all! Talk about how you feel, don't keep quiet, others suffer too and you'll find that you're not alone. And you can help others by speaking out! I tell everyone my story. I feel so much better now! And you will feel better too. Baby steps and be kind to yourself. Relax and care for yourself. Other things in life can wait. I wish you all the best! Stay strong!

When you feel better, please help others. Pass it on!
