Acid reflux

Stomach feel that it is working overtime with rumbling and gurgling which persum is linked to my anxiety. Had good 2 weeks and now systopms returning bad head over thinking. Due to return to work after 3 months however my therapist disagrees saying I am not ready. I need some normality.

Stomachs always seem to play up when we are anxious , are you eating as you should be because again when we are anxious we can miss meals or graze on junk which never helps anxious stomach's

I think it is great you are at a stage where you want normality back in your life a very good sign but I suppose the therapist may have reservations if you are ready , but you know deep down if you are and only you and I always go with my gut instinct with things like this

I wondered rather than going into full time work straight away would it be possible for a" Phased Return " into work , where you go in less hours or days to see how you feel and if everything is fine you can increase it , a lot of companies do this now and it could be a solution to what you want and what the therapist thinks as you will be meeting somewhere in the middle

Hi lulu. Yes I have been offered phase return to work. The therapist is paid by the company.

Never previously had an issue with my stomach until I was on trial period on SSRI.

Well that sounds like a plan trying to go back into work that way

Hopefully your stomach will settle down soon , keep an eye out if you have eaten certain things when it plays up more because I know with mine certain foods can trigger it of
