Sternum pain

Having horrible pain at the tip of my chest it's so sore I'm worried it's my heart! I feel breathless aswell as dizzy too! Is it anxiety or is there something wrong. The pain made me feel like sitting down

Hi MrHeap, I think I have the same problem as you, You stated the tip of your sternum, do you mean around your Solar Plexus? If you do then yes that is definitely a part of anxiety. It can cause so much stress in your gut that it radiates through your center core. I have been dealing with anxiety for quite sometime now and the physical symptoms thatI have had are ridiculous. I have had everything from depersonalization to thinking I was having a heart attack to dizziness, chest pain, constant nausea, acid reflux, ringing ears head pressure, 4 emergency room visits 1week in the hospital, and Im sure I left one out Lol! I do not want any medicine for it, I tried them all and none of them are good for you, the side effects highly out weigh the good. Some people are fortunate and the medicine really helps them but I wasn't one of them. The sternum pain will pass I promise you, you should always discuss it with your Dr. but if you have anxiety thats typically what it is. Now heres what helps EXERCISE! Yes I know, I didn't believe it myself however, when I do not walk or jog or do my calisthenics, I absolutely feel worse. Remember anxiety is part of your fight or flight so you have all the extra adrenaline in your body, use it, because if you dont then that just beats up your muscles and cramps you up and gives you odd pain symptoms in all parts of your body. My solar plexus was sore to the touch and I couldn't believe it was anxiety. Also Drink half your body weight in ounces of water day, try meditation which I cant seem to do for the life of me lol and go to your local health store and tell them what you are feeling.
