Has anyone ever had a benign mass in their breast? I found out I had one a year ago. I never thought about it but I'm wondering if that can cause an increase in my anxiety and panic.

It's funny you say that, I think all of my anxiety started from me possibly feeling a lump on my right breast. I know I have to make an appointment for a mammogram but I'm just so terrified to do it. Do you experience anything symptom wise with your chest?

Yes sometimes it feels a little irritated. Last January I was itching on my left inner breast and as I was scratching I felt a lump. I was terrified, it took me 3 months to tell my family and when I did My Mom took me to the ER. I then was referred to the cancer center, they said it's a benign tumor. In November I went to my check up and was told it grew a little and if it's bigger by my next appointment they'll remove it. Just because it's a lump doesn't mean it cancerous but it's good to get it checked.
