Had my second Covid shot about an hour ago and I’m so anxious about possible side effects. Has anyone had it that could possibly provide some reassurance? I only had a sore arm with the first one. Please no anti vaccine comments as I’ve already had the shot.

Second Pfizer shot today-help
Yes I had the second Pfizer jab about a month ago. No problems but then I wasn't expecting any. No symptoms, not even a sore arm.
No doubt if I'd been worried about side effects my imagination would have provided some.
Hey lovely, I work for the NHS vaccination program and I’ve had Pfizer myself. I felt a bit rough with my first Pfizer so I was quite apprehensive of the second. However, I had my second last Friday and I was absolutely fine. I just had a sore arm that went within 48hrs.
If you start to display any symptoms that last longer than 48hrs, contact your GP. If you have any concerns call 111 💙
Everyone I know hasn't had any effects at all with the second jab even though some were poorly first time around So really hope you will be the same Glad you have had both I'm waiting for my second it should be any day now
All the best
I just had a sore arm for a couple of days otherwise no problems
Hi, I was ok with the first shot, 2nd shot i had a sore arm for 2 days and on the second day i felt a bit lethargic and achy but that was telling me that it was working, after 2 days all fine so don't worry about it too much
I had my 2nd Moderna shot last Friday. I had a slight fever, headache, and sore arm about 12 hours later. It lasted most of the day but when I woke up I felt back to normal. Some people don’t have any side effects. Either way, you won’t die and side effects will pass. Then you’ll be protected from Covid. Worth it in my book.
I Nevered Recovered From The First One.
Thanks everyone! Woke up feeling mildly achy and not quite right. Very sore arm and tired. But so far not so bad. Crossing my fingers that this is the worst of it.
Hi I had my 2nd pfizer shot 3 weeks ago and had no problems at all. I did meet someone who did but he said his symptoms came in straightaway so if you haven't had any problems like this I shouldn't worry too much.
That's ridiculous, if the u.k. government was found to be offering a protective vaccine when they were really giving non effective placebos there would be a national scandal. And no government could keep that secret. Please stop undermining people's confidence in the vaccines they are being given.
That’s not true. I’m in the US and they did prior clinical trials. It’s a real vaccine it’s just approved for emergency use, which is a little different from the normal timeline for vaccine approval. Some people really don’t get many side effects, my mom was one of them. The younger you are, generally the worse the side effects will feel since your immune response becomes less robust over your lifespan.
This is really terrible to do to a fellow anxiety sufferer. I posted that I had already had the jab and specifically requested no anti vaccine comments on my post. Maybe you mean well but I don’t want to hear your conspiracy theories please.
Spreading misinformation of this kind is irresponsible. Let's move on, tell us why you think the world is flat.
You overlook the elephant in the room: many more have died of Covid19 because they were not vaccinated. The decline in deaths from hundreds daily to single figures coincides perfectly with the rise in the number of people vaccinated. But there's none so blind as those who don't want to see.
