Antidepressants

I talked to my doctor and asked to be taken off my wellbutrin. Ive tried three different medications for a year now, none of them have really worked that much. I barely noticed a difference. Has anyone noticed a difference in depression or anxiety after they stopped taking medication? Has it gotten better or worse?

shrs3, it wasn't until I got off my Benzos that my anxiety diminished. I am only on Lexapro right now.

I am still taking my klonopin. A very low dose and i told him i wanted to getmoff of that too

Antidepressants only have about a 30% effectiveness rate and if you have had 3 without benefit then you can be labelled as treatment resistant. There are plenty more you can try, but the prospect of benefit is not great

Interesting, do you know why some people don't respond to anti depressants?

Unfortunately not. I am one of them though. Battling on with suicidal thoughts and depression. Great frustration that nothing seems to have helped me over 5 years of trying. About 10 ads ect and psychological treatments

I'm on an antidepressant and all I seem to do is yawn a lot and nap. Does anyone else have this
