A week ago I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Looking at information sources such as Wikipedia show the quality of the rest of my life is likely to get worse and worse.
The good news is I am 74 so I can only expect about 10 years left anyway!

Some will die without a notice, never to have a chance to say their goodbyes, to achieve their dreams. Others may be hit by a catastrophic illness that buys them the time to embrace each day with their loved ones and make more memories. The thing is that none of us know when that last moment may be. Live each day as if it were your last and one day you will be right. Look towards the positives of each day and do not dwell on the negatives. Life may be bittersweet but make the most of it.

Thinking about it I realise NOTHING else matters! Any disease or disablement you can think of, any imaginable disaster. Nothing else to worry about! Surprisingly this is freedom!
