A few people have told me that if you write your thoughts down in a notebook it helps with anxiety? Does anyone have any advice or tips on helping to control this?

Yes this does help me x it's stops you worrying that you may forget things x cause if you don't write it down it will keep your mind on tge problem all the time and goes round and round in your head especially when your trying to go to sleep x

I find it helps me to make posts on here. It's a way of getting your feelings out and knowing that everyone reading also feels the same.

I found writing in a diary really helped me I used to write everything no matter how silly and score my anxiety out of 10 each day I found it helped by showing me a pattern what triggered my anxiety and what I did to help myself Also the biggest thing was that nothing I ever feared ever happened

Also what is great is reading it back after a few months and seeing how much better you are

Good luck ❤

I bought a cheap desk type diary with a lot of space on each page I also put what I needed to do each day like go for a walk do relaxation you tube video eat well anything that would help then tick off what I'd done at the end of the day It just really spurred me on to get well

I would have been really embarrassed if anyone read it though 😁

Yeah. I've also found out its easier and also helps more if you pretend to talk to someone you care about or love when you're writing stuff down
