I'm defiencent in vitamin d, I'm wondering is half my aches and pains and physical symptoms have anything to do with this? Has anyone had any similar experiences?

I have Lhdanny, I thought it was my Fibromyalgia acting up with bone pain in legs and arms. With a physical and blood tests done, I am very low on Vitamin D. Since taking it 2 weeks ago, the pain has come down a lot.

That's interesting. Mine is 7. The gp said that's I'm defiencent but it's not necessary to treat it. So I'm hoping that over the counter vitamin d will be as good as the prescription one. I'm always sore and achy among other symptoms. But it will be worth a shot..

Lhdanny, Mine was 12. I was told to take over the counter 5000 units a day.

Just like everyone else on the forum, I started slowly and I'm up to 4,000 daily.

I'd be interested in knowing if it makes a difference for you when you do start.

Yours is 7? And you were told it didn't need to be treated? I wonder if your doctors numbers are a different scale than mine. They said the normal amount of Vitamin D is 39-90 and I was at 23 so I had to take a 50,000 unit supplement once a week for 6 weeks. And that wasn't enough so I had to get 6 more weeks worth so I just find it odd that they said it didn't need to be treated. And as far as your question, yes if your vitamin D is that low, there is a chance that your symptoms could be cause by that. Take the supplements and see if you improve at all. I started feeling an improvement after the first week. Also you may want to invest in a magnesium supplement as well because when you take vit D, it uses up a ton of magnesium and if you become deficienct in magnesium, it can trigger more anxiety. Just a helpful tip because I started to feel more anxious when I was taking the vit D and my dr noticed my magnesium was low and when I took them together it helped so much. The good thing about magnesium is if you take too much, your body just gets rid of it so it could be useful to try so that it doesn't end up getting low😊

I'm the same. I took 50000UI for 6 weeks and was told to take 1000UI daily for the rest of my life. What type of magnesium do you take and how much?

They're by the brand "now" and they're called magnesium citrate. They're about 130 mg each and you can take up to 3 a day. I usually just take one or two. You can also get some with calcium in them since calcium and magnesium go hand in hand, but if you eat cheese and drink milk, I'd probably suggest the ones without calcium. Many people are deficient in magnesium and don't even know it because even blood tests aren't very accurate for it since most magnesium is stored in your bones and even if a test reads that you have enough in your blood, that doesn't necessarily mean you have enough in your bones and body as a whole. Since your body will just get rid of excess, it's worth a try🙂

Natural Antidepressants - tonzes.com/restilen.htm I began taking these a few days ago and my mood has improved drastically. The first day I took 2 pills and by the following day, I felt much better. I now take 1 per day and I haven't cried once in the past few days since taking them. I pray they will continue to work. This time, my sleep hasn't been affected by the pills. I am able to sleep a good 8 hours without drowsiness.
