My oxygen level is 98 and I still feel shorten of breathe , dizzy and tired , chest pain etc. is that normal ????

I myself have given up trying to guess.....if your pulse rate and heart rate are normal a dr. would likely say all is ok, you're dwelling on it, anxiety.....the more we dwell on things the worse they get it seems......the trick is to keep the mind busy thinking other things, happy things.

I know , hats why I try to keep myself busy so I won't worry about it ...

I would have to say the shortness of breath is from you thinking you can't breathe. When you tell yourself that you can't breathe you actually breathe kind of shallow. And the chest pains are most likely anxiety or stressed out muscles from the anxiety. Just try some deep breathing and relax.

I know but just so hard to believe that . I feel like this every day and the doctors says I'm fine. Seem like I'm breathing so slow and fighting to breathe .

This is my life! This is my life for over a year now! Man do I know what you're going through. I've taken all kinds of tests, from lung functioning, to CT Scans, to Nuclear Stress Tests. All show I'm fit as a fiddle. The problem is, I'm constantly short of breath.

I focus on every breath. I take deep breaths always. I'm constantly doing spot checks to ensure my 02 capacity is good. I've downloaded a pulse oximeter on my phone (never once been below 98) I bought an FEV meter (always blow within the 20% range for my age/height/weight) I even go on jogs around the block to prove to myself I can breathe, but I'm always right back to it.

Here's my take on it. Breathing is an automatic function. When you take over that function you screw up the exchange and your body goes haywire. Breathing is how your body communicates to your brain if you're in danger or not. So you screw up your breathing and your body freaks out and shoves a whole bunch of adrenaline and cortisol through you and the next thing you know, you're dizzy and out of it because your fight or flight mode has kicked in. However, you're not in danger so you freak out because you have no real reason to be so pumped up.....what does this do you wonder? Kicks the whole process into gear again. You're freaked out after all, so your body just pumps more chemicals because the first time clearly wasn't enough. Now you're in the anxiety loop! (maybe your not, but this must be what's happening to me.)

First thing, go to the Doc. Make sure you're good. If you are, try some deep breathing to start relaxing. From there, just learn to roll with the anxiety surges.
